The EU CAP Network is organising the brokerage event ‘Partnering for innovation with impact in agriculture and rural areas’ with a focus on innovation, knowledge exchange and EIP-AGRI. We are looking for participants who would like to share their knowledge and experience on the topic, and who would like to apply for the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 calls from the 2025 Work Programme.

This event will take place in Prague, Czech Republic from Tuesday 29 to Wednesday 30 April 2025.

This event will be dedicated to matchmaking and networking amongst R&I project representatives, farmers, advisors, researchers, and other relevant stakeholders to support the preparation of proposals for the upcoming upcoming calls included in the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 Work Programme for 2025 in the following thematic areas:

  • digital and data technologies
  • sustainable, healthy and resilient crop and livestock production
  • new business models and value chains
  • circular water management and soil health

In addition to Horizon Europe, other funding opportunities will be explored to enhance further innovation and collaboration across the sector, disseminate and upscale innovative solutions, and maximise the impact of R&I results on the ground. These include relevant European and national, private and public funding mechanisms.

If you are interested in participating and actively sharing your experience and innovative ideas, please fill in the application form before 17 February 2025, 23:59 CET.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Selection criteria

All applications will be assessed based on the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated interest in the thematic areas and active participation in the brokerage event.
  • Relevant knowledge, innovative ideas, and willingness to share experiences with the other participants.
  • Clear identification of key stakeholders the applicant  wish to connect with and explanation of these connections.
  • Applicants interested in the role of project coordinator, demonstrated  experience and capability to take on this role.

The involvement of applicants in relevant projects and initiatives will also be considered in the assessment of applications. Special attention will be given to Horizon 2020 / Horizon Europe projects. Geographical balancing will be applied to ensure balanced distribution of participants across the Member States.

Selection process

Please be aware that only one participant per project/organisation will be accepted. However, the participation of farmers and advisors is strongly encouraged, and a second application per organisation/project may be accepted if one of the two applicants is a farmer or an advisor.

Due to the limited number of participants, it will not be possible to accommodate all requests for participation. We will do our best to create a diverse community of participants with a broad geographical coverage. After the organisers have assessed the applications received, selected participants will receive an invitation to register and confirm their attendance at the event.

Travel and accommodation information

Participation at the event is free of charge. Please note that participants from public/national administrations shall cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. For other participants, if expenses cannot be covered by projects or organisations, travel and accommodation (hotel) costs for some selected participants may be covered by the European Commission. Please do not make any reservations until you have heard that your application was successful.
